CRT Disposal

CRTs—cathode ray tubes a main component of TVs and computer monitors—are considered a hazardous waste and CANNOT be disposed of in the trash. The CRTs contain lead and potentially can contaminate the soil and water.

If your computer is in working condition, you may want to donate it to a local charity or school. Please contact the organization of your choice regarding their conditions of acceptance.
