Recycled Water

In the mid-1980's, the Novato Sanitary District, with the assistance of Federal and State grants, invested $16 million in reclamation facilities that include water storage ponds, 820 acres of irrigated pastures, and a fifteen acre wildlife pond. The District reclaims an average of over 40% of the average annual dry weather flow.
